Astonishing Garden D’Lights display at the Bellevue Botanical Garden
The holiday light display at the Bellevue Botanical Garden has definitely been discovered. This year the lights have their own website,…
…admission is charged, and reservations recommended. This used to be a quiet community event, little known beyond Bellevue, but now attendance has grown as high as 10,000 per night with cars clogging the narrow streets leading to Wilburton Park.
The amazing light display recreates flowering gardens, woodland creatures and bugs, an aquarium, and a river with waterfalls in lights. The display grows every year, now surpassing half a million lights. The lights are on every night through January 1st.
Be sure to come back in warm weather for a more leisurely stroll among the real flowers of spring and summer.
